Psalm 107:11-12
Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Let them exalt him publicly before the congregation and before the leaders of the nation.
If we're still breathing we can praise the Lord and the Psalmist encourages us to because of all the wonderful things God has done for each one of us.😊
Psalm 103:1-5 tells us to not forget all God's benefits, those wonderful things, so here are some.
God loved us so much He sent His Son to die in our place. He took the punishment we should have had and if He hadn't done that we would all still be going to Hell. What a wonderful thing He did for us at the cross!
He loved us so much He wanted us to be part of His family and He chose us before the world was even made. He's forgiven and cleansed all our sins and He doesn't even remember them anymore. He's made us totally righteous in His eyes so He sees us blameless and without fault in Jesus. What a wonderful thing Jesus did for us.
He's born all our griefs and sorrows, healed all our diseases, He crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies each and every day. We woke up this morning to new supplies of His divine favour and compassion. He's making sure goodness and mercy are travelling with us wherever we go. Scripture says He's filling our mouths with good and renewing our youth. Wonderful!
In our personal lives God has always been there for us and each one of us could testify to His rescuing, providing, protecting and just blessing us in so many wonderful ways.
There is so much to thank God for, so much to praise Him for, so we can enjoy doing that today with grateful hearts. Let's exalt Him together for all the wonderful things He has done and continues to do every day and may we never take them for granted. His name shall be called Wonderful.😊
