I thought that was a good quote. It's amazing to think we can make any difference at all in this world but to make a difference for the good has to be worthwhile. Whether it's making a cake for neighbours who are upset, or sending cheer you up cards to friends and family, or praying for those we know are in distress, all of those things are making a difference in some way. We're helping make other peoples' worlds a better place.
We don't have to be wealthy philanthropists to make a difference, wonderful as they are, but we can all be people who uplift those who are worn down, or be kind enough to take the time to listen. Jesus said it best when He told us to think what we'd like done to us and then go and do it for someone else.
We were in a supermarket the other day and were only buying a couple of things. The lady in front invited us to go before her big trolley load and she did the same to the next in line as well. It was a thoughtful thing to do and though a small thing she made a difference to total strangers that day and we were grateful.
When we feel a bit down, thinking of ways to bring a smile to someone else would probably cheer us up as well.😊 Maybe we could encourage our children/grandchildren to do the same by finding fun ways to bless others.
We all know our world could do with a little help, so just imagine, if we all did at least one kind thing each day, by the end of the day it would have reached multiple people and made our world a better place. I feel inspired, How about you?😊
