John 2 v.10
...'But you have kept the best until now!'
The bridegroom had provided some wine out of his ability for the wedding feast but his wine - his ability and provision - ran out. It wasn't enough.
When He was asked, Jesus stepped in and met the need, over and above what was required, with the Best!
He didn't do just enough to keep everyone happy. He provided THE BEST.
When we come to the end of our ability and resources, if we ask Jesus to help, He will give us instructions and He will do the miraculous for us.
The servants gave to Him what was available, clay pots with large capacity, which were only meant to hold water and dirty water at that.
When they brought what they had to Jesus He changed the purpose of the pots, gave them a new destiny if you like, and filled them with new wine - a picture of the Holy Spirit. He gave them THE BEST!
The Master of Ceremonies said 'You have kept the best until now!'
THIS IS NOW. God has kept THE BEST for us UNTIL NOW.
THE BEST IS NOW.
We're in the now. Now faith is... Heb 11v.1 Now is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and His provision and empowering.
NOW is the blessing of THE BEST. THE BEST IS NOW!
Some say the best is yet to come, putting it off into the future which is also true, but I believe THE BEST IS NOW.
We're always living in the now and God says the BEST IS NOW, not off somewhere in the future.
It is now. Praise God.

The Master of Ceremonies tasted the best, and enjoyed the best and appreciated the best.
God wants us to do the same.
