In other scriptures God reminds us He is our provider, our healer, our righteousness, our deliverer, saviour, peace, and so on, but also our Father. He alone is the ‘Lord’, who is all these things to us. No wonder we can praise His glorious name today.
Even the angels, the hosts of heaven, bow down and worship the living God because they are in His presence all the time, and know first hand how wonderful and awe inspiring He is. How amazing that He invites us to be His sons and daughters, to belong in His family, and allows us to come into His presence and worship Him.
I wonder if we forget sometimes who we are dealing with - the One who designed the galaxies and constellations, who lights up the skies every night. It’s quite a thought!π
And on top of all that they remind themselves of how God is always true to His word, He always keeps His promises, so much so, He has a glorious reputation for it, so no-one can forget.π
May I just give us a little nudge today? Are we remembering the amazing reputation God has for always doing what He says He will do for us - that He is the God who can bring things into existence that don’t even appear to be there, when we pray and ask?
We truly have an awe inspiring God, so let’s lift the roof with our praises to Him today. In Jesus’ Name Amen.π
