Isaiah 65:24 I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
Being the youngest of four children our house was often noisy and if the one you wanted was upstairs we would shout up for them to come on down. Sometimes they didn’t hear and you’d have to shout until they did come! Like I say, it could be noisy!😊
Thankfully we don’t have to shout up to God over and over again. He hears us the first time, in fact, He already knows what we’re going to say, so He goes ahead and prepares the answers before we even get there! What a wonderful God we have. He’s setting in motion the things we’ll need well in advance of our knowing we’re ever going to need them. I think that’s amazing.
I heard a true story about some visiting surgeons who were doing operations in a remote third world country when their monitor went down so they had to stop operating. They prayed, they asked around for help but there was no monitor to be found anywhere. They were stuck. Suddenly the hospital administrator arrived at the hospital with the exact monitor they needed, still in its box, brand new! Two years before he had been given it as a gift for the hospital but at the time had no need for it and put it away. But God had known the hospital would be needing it two years down the line so He provided before they even had to ask for it and all was well, they could continue operating.😊
