THERE IS NO OTHER GOD

Isaiah 43:10-11 NLT 

But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” Says the Lord. 

“You are my servant. 

You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, 

and understand that I alone am God. 

There is no other God - 

there never has been, 

and there never will be. 

I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior.

Wow! What a statement to make! There is no other God, no other Saviour, and it’s great to know God made it so clear we need never have any doubt about it.😊 The world will tell us very differently but that’s when we have to know that the Bible is the infallible word of God. 

1 Peter 1:23/25 NKJV having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, v.25 But the word of the Lord endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Jesus said in John 17:17 NLT Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

So we can put our complete confidence in the Word of God. What a privilege to know it says we have been chosen to know Him, to believe in Him and to know that He alone is God. 

Sometimes the Lord challenges us to see if  we’re really believing His Word is true or not, to believe 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 

Lord we thank You for the scriptures, for Your Word which reminds us You are the only true God and we have no other Saviour but You. Thank You for choosing us to belong to You. What a hallelujah that is.😊 We have so much to praise and thank You for today because of Jesus. Amen.
