BY THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY

Revelation 12:10-11 NKJV  Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

If you’ve ever felt beaten up by the enemy or as though you couldn’t do anything about it, God has good news for us because He has declared we have the power within us to defeat Satan! So how do we do it? 

He says the power of His Christ has come and because Jesus now has all authority, our accuser Satan has been thrown down. That is how we need to see Satan in our minds eye - thrown down, under our feet, defeated. Jesus won the ultimate battle at the Cross, rose from the grave and He gave us His victory.😊 

God’s kingdom has come as well, and whatever is not of God, including sickness, disease and lack, has been thrown down with Satan, defeated by the precious blood of the Lamb. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and He went about healing and delivering.

When Satan comes and accuses us or tries to put things on us we need to stand our ground and remind ourselves and him, he lost his power over us at the Cross when Jesus took all our punishment, took all the wrath of God into Himself so we would never experience it. No matter what Satan accuses us of, Jesus has already paid the penalty for it and has wiped our slate clean!

We know death and life are in the power of the tongue, so we can overcome by the power of our tongue too! Our verses say ‘they overcame by the word of their testimony’. They spoke! Their words were powerful in overcoming Satan.

What is coming out of your mouth, my mouth? Are we testifying moans and complaints, or praise to our God for what Jesus has done and given to us? Are we testifying victory or defeat? We shall overcome with our testimony when the truth of the Word of God, the victory of the Cross is coming out of our mouths. We can do this! 

Thank You Lord for stirring us up today to be overcomers. Holy Spirit help us to do it, to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We praise You Jesus for all You have done for us.😊Amen.
