GOD’S UNFAILING LOVE AND PEACE

Isaiah 54:10 NKJV
10
Though the mountains be shaken
    and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Some verses of scripture just give us such confidence and this is one of them.😊 No matter what is going on around us, in our own lives, or in the wider world, God constantly gives us His assurance that we can rely on Him through it all.
So even if the world, or our lives are going through mountain shaking upheavals (that our verse talks about), or things we thought would always be there and now they’re not, it’s not a problem to our God.

He has put it in writing that His unfailing love, His kindness, will not leave us and that’s good enough in itself, but then He adds that His covenant of peace won’t be removed either. The NLT says His covenant of blessings will not be removed.

In other words God is always the same. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He has promised to never leave us alone, and because He is for us, who, or what can succeed against us? No one! We have the Victor on our side and He has declared He has made us overcomers through Jesus, so we are designed to overcome, and we will! Hallelujah!😊

Even if our souls have been a bit bashed about this week, let’s put our eyes back on our God and know the Lord is our Shepherd and He’s in the process of restoring our souls. (Psalm 23:1&3) We believe it Lord!

Will you give Him permission to lift your spirits today, so we can rejoice in our Saviour and give Him all the praise due to His wonderful name, knowing He has us in the palm of His hand and we are anchored into His promises, His faithfulness, His love and His peace. In Jesus name. Amen.
