EVERY MOMENT

Hebrews 13:5(AMPC) …for He (God) Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. (I will) not, (I will) not, (I will) not in any degree let you down (relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!)

The other day I was praying and I just kept hearing these two words and found myself saying them out loud “EVERY MOMENT”. 

The Lord was reminding me and you too, He is with us literally every moment of our day and night. He’s right there with us and there is never a moment of time when He isn’t right there, but in the stress of ‘the moment’ we sometimes forget, don’t we? 

He is Emmanuel, God with us.

I’m realising more and more, we don’t actually need to ever say, “Please go with us, or be with us Lord.” He already is!🙂 It would be like asking someone sitting with you in the car if they would please come and sit with you in the car, when they already are! They’d think ‘how odd, I already am.’🙂 Perhaps it’s better to say “Thank You Lord You’re with us every moment, when we stay home, when we go out, with us on this journey, every moment protecting us and keeping us safe.”

When we maybe face a difficult interview, or a hospital appointment, “Thank You Lord You are with me at this interview, giving me wisdom and insight and grace for it.” When we go shopping online or in the shops “ThankYou Lord, You’re with me, showing me what to buy or not to buy. You’re giving me Your favour wherever I go.”

Maybe we’re dealing with pain or sickness or tiredness. “ThankYou Lord You’ve told me You’ve already born all my sicknesses, pains and tiredness and I know You’re right here with me at this moment bringing me Your healing and Your strength.”

Friends, whatever we’re dealing with, remember these two words….“EVERY MOMENT”. 

We are not alone and we have the greatest, most loving, most powerful Person, God Himself, right there with us wherever we are, every moment. Next time you feel tension or fear trying to come on you, take a deep breath, remember God is right there, relax and let Him give you whatever you need at that moment, every moment. Amen.🙂

Psalm 16:8(NLT) I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
