Psalm 103:22 Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord.
We've spent the whole week looking at how good our God is to us, how much He is doing for us, and how many benefits He gives to us. David lists it all in the present tense! If ever we're tempted to think God is not listening or 'why isn't He doing anything?', I hope we can now get this psalm out and remind ourselves of all He is doing through Jesus and receive it by faith in our here and now. Our God is a very present help, He is doing these things now!😊
We can encourage ourselves in the Lord as we reread it all through and put ourselves in the verses. We can say He forgives all my sins, He heals all my diseases, He is blessing me with good things, and renewing my youth so I'm strong and soaring.
We can remind ourselves that the Lord is crowning me with loving kindness and tender mercy. He is doing that for me. He is compassionate to me, He remembers how weak I am but His love for me remains forever.
I know that's a lot of 'me's but it's good to remember how personal our loving Father is with us.
I'll let you personalise all the other things as you read through the whole psalm again, but I hope it has given us a fresh desire and inspiration to join the psalmist David, and everything else God has created, to make our praise personal in the coming days, and say
"Let all that I am praise the Lord!" 😊
