Talk about benefits, it goes on and on! This verse covers our eternity as well as our here and now which is amazing. God is the God who delivers us from the destruction of eternal death, so no matter what happens in life we have the ultimate victory in Jesus. He is not only the Resurrection and the Life for our eternity but in our daily lives too and we can declare His resurrection life not only over our bodies but over every part of our lives and over every circumstance because of Him. Glory to God!
Until I read this verse in the Amplified Bible I didn't realise God beautifies and dignifies us when He crowns us with His loving kindness and tender mercy and I thought how lovely that is. We may not feel beautiful or dignified in the natural but every time we look in the mirror one of the many things we can thank Him for by faith, is for beautifying us from the inside out. When we're beautiful on the inside it will show in our faces.😊 Thank You Lord for that!
So as we go out into our day we can wholeheartedly praise the Lord for giving us His resurrection life, for beautifying us and dignifying us with a crown of loving-kindness and tender mercy. It's a crown He has made to measure especially for each one of us, so we can hold our heads up with confidence in Him and what He has given us in the Lord Jesus.
What a Saviour. Praise the name of Jesus!😊
