RECOVERY TIME

John 21:15 After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”

Life can go pear shaped sometimes and we find out if we’re in faith or not when an illness hits, or the money runs out, or we didn’t get the job we were believing  for, or someone lets us down or leaves us.

We all have our faith tested to see whether we’ll give up praying for a particular issue when we can’t see anything changing, or turn away from God because He didn’t do what we asked. Will we choose to trust Him no matter what happens, and keep a thankful attitude?

Apostle Peter had his faith tested when Jesus was taken away to be tried and crucified and he found himself denying even knowing Jesus, not once but three times, but thankfully Jesus didn’t write him off! He gave him the chance to put it all right, to recover from his setback and he went on to be stronger than ever before.😊

God wants to encourage somebody today, to say even if something has happened and you feel like you’ll never recover because something has been cut off, or if you’ve missed it, or your faith failed for a time, even if you’ve denied the Lord, God will recover you and you will be stronger than you ever were, and fulfil all God has for you. It’s not hopeless, because God is merciful to us all.

Our picture shows the new blossom, hope of new life bursting forth again. God is still in the recovery business even if we’ve been pulled apart by circumstances beyond our control, because He loves us.😊

So whether things didn’t turn out the way we wanted, or we think we’ve blown it, the important thing is to not run away from God, but run to Him because we can trust Him to be merciful and full of grace towards us. His arms are open wide to receive us because He still loves us and we can still love Him and serve Him.

Thank You Lord. Amen.

Thank you so much Jackie for sharing your precious thoughts with us. May the river continue to flow and never run dry in Jesus' Mighty Name

It is indeed a time to recover all the enemy had stolen or lost through our own errors or mistake. All we need to do is tarry in HIS presence

And just as it's written in (the last part of the verse) Isa 49:23
    Isaiah 49:23 GNT
.........no one who waits for my help will be disappointed.”

HE will never disappoint us. Keep waiting on HIM.

Thank you so very much Jackie. God bless you

    Cheers.
