TAKE HEART

Ephesians 1:4 NLT Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

We’ve probably all known some people a long time and we share joint memories that go way back, some joyful, some poignant. But God tells us in Psalm 139 that He knew us while we were still in our mother’s womb, and then He goes further and says He chose us before the world began! Now that is going way back!😊

Even if you don’t feel very special today, God wants you to know that you are very special to Him, that His love for you goes beyond anything you can think or imagine.😊

His heart is for us to become all He wants us to be, and it’s all wrapped up in being connected to Him, a joint heir with Jesus. He says in John 15:16 He has chosen us to bear much fruit for Him, and He’s not looking for a perfect performance, but He is looking at our heart.

When all we can see are our weaknesses He assures us that it’s in those same weaknesses that His strength is made perfect, that He’s looking at our willingness to obey Him, not our qualifications or lack of them. God uses the most unlikely people and He anoints them to be able to do and be, whoever and whatever He wants them to be, and that includes us all.

So if you’ve been discouraged for any reason, take heart today, and just rejoice in being wherever you’re at. Grab a hold of God’s hand knowing He’s lifting you higher, encouraging you and enabling you to become all that He has planned, because He loves you. In Jesus name. Amen.😊
