TIME TO CLAP

Isaiah 55:12 (NLT)
You will live in joy and peace.
The mountains and hills will burst into song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands!

We often see people clapping their hands at the end of a performance to show their appreciation for how good something was. If it was really good they will continue clapping and give a standing ovation. Or sometimes you'll see a little child clapping their hands together with glee, they’re so delighted or enthusiastic. Scripture says even the trees will clap their hands.😊

The other day in church we gave a clap offering to our God, to the One who has done all things well, who has blessed us beyond measure, to the One who deserves all our praise, all the appreciation we can give to Him. He is our loving Father, the Restorer of our souls, our Saviour, who gives us mercy when we don’t deserve it, and pours out His abundant grace on us every day. How could we not praise Him in every way we know how? We owe Him everything, because all good things come down from Him. (James 1:17)

I heard someone say that our joy doesn’t depend on our circumstances, (which is just as well when things go crazy) but it depends upon our relationship with God. So even if you feel justified in feeling grumpy today just take a minute and remember your Father woke you up this morning and gave you breath to breathe, you belong to Him, He has given you food to enjoy and you’re able to read this Blog so you can see.

In other words just try to think about anything good that lifts your spirits that you can be thankful for, or enthusiastic about like the little child does, and why not give God a standing ovation and clap your hands to Him, wherever you are, because praise defeats the enemy and our Father deserves all the glory.😊

Lord, we praise You with everything we have today and thank You most of all for Jesus our Risen, Conquering King, and You still have good plans for us, to bless and not to harm us, to give us a future and a hope. In Jesus Name. Amen.
