TIME TO HOPE AGAIN!

 Psalm 119:49-50 (Nlt)
Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.
Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.

The Psalmist here reminds us that God's promises give us hope, revive us and they comfort us especially when we're going through trials and troubles. In effect he's reminding himself that God cannot lie and when He promises something He is honour bound to fulfil it so he can rely on it totally and so can we.

I wonder what promise or promises you are remembering today? What are you drawing your hope from? Why not get those promises out again and remind yourself of them no matter what dire situation you may be looking at. Write them down and pin them round your house, keep them before your eyes and in your ears, speak them out, because as you do they will rekindle your hope, revive you and comfort you.😊

You see we have our part to play, it's not all up to God. Abraham had to keep reminding himself of God’s promise of a child for 25 years but then when God told him He was giving him a new name which reminded him of the promise every time anyone called his name 'Father of Many Nations', he had the child within 10 months! He was reminded of the promise multiple times a day!

God hasn't forgotten His promises to us, the thing is, are we remembering them ourselves or have we let them slide? Let me encourage you again today with this scripture....

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us.....was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For ALL the promises of God in Him are YES and in Him Amen, to the glory of God, through us. (2 Corinthians 1:19-20)

Even if you only have time to write out one promise just do it, stick it on your bathroom mirror, and hope again!😊

Here's a couple to get you started...😊

Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.

Psalm 32:8 The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
