What a comfort to know God loves us dearly which is such a close term of endearment isn't it? That's not a distant love, it's a love that wraps us up and draws us close to Him and holds us tight. It says the Holy Spirit's mission is to fill our hearts with God's love till we're so full that we just overflow with it. Maybe you're like me and need to let that soak in, to really believe God loves us that much especially when we don't feel very lovable!
Jesus said in John 14:20 When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
We know God is love so I like to think of it this way - Jesus is in His Father and in His love, and we are in Jesus and in His love, and Jesus and His love are in us. Whatever way we turn we're surrounded by God and His love. If we turn to the right or the left we bump into His love! What an amazing thought that is!
If ever we doubt God's love for us just look at Jesus on the Cross and we know how much God loves us and has put that same love in our hearts too. How wonderful is God's love for you and me. Thank You Lord. Let's take a minute and just soak in it today. 😊
