The past couple of days we've looked at some ways of strengthening ourselves against our fears and today is the last one. Paul was like us in that he faced many battles, one of which was fear on the inside. He was a man of faith and yet he still had to overcome fear, so be encouraged, we're not unusual or the only ones dealing with fears.
Paul explains one way that helps. He says when Titus came it was his encouragement that strengthened Paul. Receiving encouragement from others helps build us up to be strong to resist fear and fight our battles, and although we don't have Titus arriving on our doorstep we do have other Christian brothers and sisters who may phone, text or come alongside us. Only this week someone texted me which encouraged me when I really needed it. Yesterday we saw how scriptures encourage us to not be afraid and I hope this Blog also encourages someone to fight the good fight of faith.😊
Whatever form our encouragement comes in, it is sent by God to strengthen us in our faith, and faith in it's turn helps us to remember God is our Strong Tower, our Deliverer, our Shield to protect us from whatever we fear. God is for us so we're on the winning side!😊
Allow God's encouragements to flow into you today to help you stand strong in faith. God has placed His great overcoming power on the inside of you so you can speak to your fears and tell them to be removed and cast into the sea. You can take authority over them and declare your freedom in Jesus' name because you are no longer a fearful slave but a child of the Most High God, greatly blessed, deeply loved and highly favoured by Him.😊
