GUARDIAN OF OUR SOULS

1 Peter 2:25 AMP For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

Isn’t it wonderful to know there is someone watching out for us around the clock! The Lord is our Good Shepherd and Psalm 139 reminds us there’s nowhere we can go where our Shepherd can lose sight of us, whether we’re travelling or at home, out on the ocean, in the heavens flying high or down in the depths. Even in the dark He sees us and when we wake up He’s still with us!😊

He knows where we are every minute of the day and night and He’s thinking about us and watching over us because of His great love and care for us. Psalm 121:7-8 The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. 

Not only that but He has assigned His angelic beings to also watch over us. Psalm 91:11 NLT For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

Then He blesses us with the wonderful truth that He guards our souls because we’ve come back to Him, which means God is also providing protection and care for our spiritual and emotional well-being as well.

God has us covered in every area of our lives so let’s go out into our week believing His promises and resting in those reassuring truths, claiming them for ourselves, knowing we’re so loved and cared for. In Jesus wonderful name. Amen.😊
