POSITIVITEA

Psalm121:1-2 NIV I lift up my eyes to the mountains — where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

‘Always start your day with a cup of Positivitea’. That sign caught my eye and made me smile but it also made me stop and think.
When we go to the doctor he might want to give us a dose of medicine for whatever is wrong, but sometimes what we need is a dose of positivity!

We can choose to start off our day with a cup of positivitea, or whatever our favourite breakfast drink is, as long as we’ve poured some positivity into it!😊

The Holy Spirit wants us to begin the day on the right footing, with our thoughts going in the right direction, in God’s direction. Even before we climb out of bed in the morning, we can start with the thought that today is the day the Lord has gifted us with, and He’s going to be helping us with whatever comes our way.

Then we can pour in the promise that everything we set our hand to do will prosper, that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter, and that all will be well for the godly. And if the day starts to go a bit wonky, or the enemy is telling you otherwise, keep believing, keep looking up and thank God He’s going to turn it round for your good in the long run.😊

Nothing can take our God by surprise. He already knows what our day will bring, but He’s promised to go ahead of us and make the crooked paths straight and to make level the paths, so whatever happens, God knows about it and He’s on it.

As we walk through our week we can know nothing is going to happen to us today that we can’t handle, because we have the Holy Spirit in us, our God is for us, and our help comes from Him.😊 In Jesus’ powerful name. Amen.
