GOODNESS OF GOD

Mark 10:18 No one is good but One, that is, God.

Have you ever heard anyone complaining about God, speaking about Him with disrespect, as though He ‘owed’ them something and how they want to challenge God with their questions when they get to heaven? Now I know we all have our ‘Why God’ moments sometimes, but do we forget how we owe absolutely everything we have to Him, that He gave us His best by giving us His Son?

Our God is immensely good to every one of us and its good to encourage ourselves to remember just how good God is, so the next time we want to rant and rave at Him, instead we can praise Him for His goodness and be thankful even when things haven’t worked out our way.😊

Exodus 34:6 NKJV The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth. Aren’t you glad God is overflowing with goodness and He’s longsuffering when He hears our complaints?

Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. God doesn’t show favouritism. He gives goodness and mercy to all of us. Thank You Lord!

Matthew 7:11  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! How wonderful that we can ask Him for good things and He’s delighted to give them to us.😊

Psalm 27:1 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. If you’ve been losing heart lately, remember this verse and believe it.

1 Chronicles 16:34  Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

There are too many verses to write but let’s remember this last one every single day and have hearts that are so thankful for all God’s goodness to us. In Jesus name. Amen.
