A LOT TO LEARN

3 John 2 NKJV Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

I’ve just had a birthday and when another year passes it always makes me stop and think! Did I learn anything new this last year and yes, I’ve learned how to use a new machine! I’ve learned not to put people in boxes because they’re full of surprises, I’ve been reminded to let offences go, to listen and not judge, the list is endless! I still have a lot to learn!😊 

Have I made any difference in the world I move in? I realised you and I are all making a difference to someone just by being here, by turning up, by caring about other’s needs, or praying for them.

What plans does God have for this upcoming year? Well, whether we’ve had a birthday or not, I know God wants to prosper us and for us to be in health, that He has plans to surround us with His favour wherever we go.😊

Something else which is encouraging, is that God is going ahead of each one of us, and has promised to make our crooked paths straight. He’s never taken by surprise by anything that happens and already has plans to turn any setbacks into setups to be a blessing for us in the long run. 

Not only that but God promises to reward us if we diligently seek Him, and Psalm 37:4 tells us if we delight ourselves in Him He will give us the desires of our hearts. So we don’t need to wait, we can all answer the call to seek Him, knowing He’s for us and not against us.

No doubt there will be some giants to slay, some mountains to remove but when we know we have the One who does the impossible living inside us, we can’t lose can we?!😊 It’s just a case of remembering how powerful our God is and that He’s our Heavenly Dad, pursuing us with His goodness and mercy every single day (Psalm 23:6). 

Thank You Lord for bringing us this far and that You’ll never leave us or forsake us. In Jesus name. Amen.
