DON’T FREEZE PRAYERS!

Isaiah 65:24 NLT I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

You’ll probably chuckle when I tell you I was preparing some pears to stew and thought I’d find out if they would freeze successfully. However, I was thinking about praying at the same time, so when I typed in ‘how to freeze pears’ I absentmindedly typed in ‘how to freeze prayers!’, and amazingly an answer popped up! We had a good laugh about my mistake though and the stewed pears were lovely.๐Ÿคฃ

Now I don’t recommend we freeze or stew any of our prayers because we want them to be as vibrant and fresh as we need them to be! God is listening to them all, and scripture says He answers them before we’ve even spoken them which is remarkable, and wonderfully encouraging all at the same time!

God tells us to ask in faith, believing we have the answer even before we see it, to pray the answer not the problem. Jesus demonstrated it to His disciples with the fig tree and went on to say all things are possible to him who believes.

So often we get bogged down with doubts, or past experiences of our own, or when we’ve heard someone say it didn’t work for them. Abraham prayed for a son for decades before his son arrived, and yet he never gave up hope and neither should we!

No matter how long we’ve prayed, pray some more! Whether it worked for ‘so and so’ or not, has nothing to do with it. This is between you and the God who flung stars into space, who helps you each moment of the day, who knows what you’re going to say before you say it, who cares about you and loves you deeply!

So don’t let’s put our prayers on ‘freeze’ just because we haven’t had the answer yet. Keep them fresh and know we’re speaking to El Shaddai, the All Sufficient One, who wants the best for us, who can do the impossible, the improbable and the unimaginable. Glory to God.๐Ÿ˜ŠAmen.

  1. Thank you , again, for your encouragement and wisdom. I have prayed a long time for my husband. Perhaps I could ask you to pray for him too? The Lord knows the story and I am tired .. but I haven’t yet given up . Thanks

    1. Thanks for your comment and I came across the link below, about praying for unsaved loved ones. Some of it may be useful to help you in your praying. I don’t know the lady myself but it gives a lot of scripture to base your prayers on. God says His word will never return to Him empty.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐ŸปIn the meantime I shall be honoured to pray for your husband to be born again.
      God bless you.๐Ÿ˜Šxx
