NEW DAY - NEW GRACE

Hebrews 4:15-16 ESV For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Do you ever experience weakness, ever have a time of need, ever need God’s mercy? I’m sure we all do, some of us more than others maybe!😊 The good news is Jesus not only understands our human frailties because He experienced them Himself, but praise God He overcame them and never sinned.

So where does that leave us? Well thankfully Jesus is also our High Priest so He’s given us access to the throne of God so we can have His help whenever we have a need, and we can receive His mercy when we’ve blown it.

It’s even greater than that because He says we can come with confidence as we draw near to God and we don’t need to come fearful of punishment, or afraid of rejection. Jesus has made it possible to know God’s door is always open to us, His heart is to bless us and not punish us. How amazing is His grace, especially when we know we don’t deserve it!

So whatever happened yesterday, whatever you’re facing today, regardless of what’s looming up in the future, remember you have a place to go 24/7 called the Throne of Grace, where everything you will need for today is available for you to access. There isn’t even a queue!😊

You may need extra strength, to face a difficult situation. Perhaps, like me, you need courage and determination to do what you need to do, or you may need wisdom beyond your own, or have an unexpected financial need. Perhaps your health has taken a dive and you need healing and restoration in some area? 

Whatever it is, God has gone ahead and has a store house of grace just for you and for your need - for today. You don’t need to worry about tomorrow’s provision yet - just today!😊

So why not do as He says and come, draw near to His throne of grace right now and receive whatever it is you need for your now situation, for today, and let God take care of tomorrow.😊 In Jesus name. Amen.
