When our loved ones come to see us I expect we welcome them in with open arms and big hugs. We never shout through the keyhole, “Go away!” No, we open wide the doors and make them feel welcome.😊
These verses are saying the same sort of thing. ‘Open up the gates, open up the doors, welcome the King of glory in.’
As I was thinking about that I thought it would be lovely to start the week by welcoming the King of Glory into our every day, into our work, into our homes, our relationships, into our routines. Let’s welcome the Holy Spirit in, the One who is strong and mighty, into every area of our lives.
Our God is our Father, we are part of His family and He welcomes us into His home let’s open wide the doors of our hearts today and invite Him into our homes, into everything we have to do.😊
Welcome His peace and welcome His joy, welcome His provision and protection, welcome His wisdom. Our God is the great I AM, so let’s welcome Him in by faith, and praise Him for all He has already done for us.
Maybe you need a miracle? Then welcome in His miracle working power today, knowing He is working behind the scenes, working things out for the good, going ahead to prepare each day as we walk into it.
John 14:23 NLT Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. We’d all like someone strong and mighty with us, so as we walk into our new week, let’s welcome Jesus and respond with our love, our thanksgiving and praise, and welcome the Lord, strong and mighty, our King of Glory in.😊 Amen.
