THE GOD WHO BENDS DOWN

Psalm 116:1-2 NLT I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

If we’ve ever had anything to do with children we know we have to bend down to listen to what they’re saying, so we don’t miss anything.😊

Our loving Heavenly Father is the same with us. He too bends down to listen to our every prayer, our every sigh. He sees every tear and He knows the heartache, the struggle we sometimes experience and yet He also sees when we hang on in faith when the reports are not good, or when we can’t see a way forward.

We know our God is bigger than anything that we have to deal with, more powerful than death itself because Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. 

God still fulfils His word and He’s still bending down to hear what we’re saying, but He wants us to hear what He is saying too. He says He will restore health to us, that He delivers our lives from destruction, that He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, that no weapon can succeed (whatever it’s called), if we stay in faith and declare the promises of God over our own lives so He can fulfil them.

So may I encourage you to keep speaking His promises over your life, several times a day if need be, because Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV reminds us that God’s word is health to our flesh and Jesus said His words are life giving. God is bending down and He sees and hears your faith and your words and with Him all things are possible.😊 Amen.
